Coleg Glan Hafren speaking in tongues for GCSE resultsColeg Glan Hafren, Cardiff's largest further education college will see over 450 GCSE results being collected by their students today. Out of the results, 30 part-time language students have performed the best with A-C grades achieved in Italian GCSE by 100% of students and in Spanish Higher GCSE by 87.5% of students and A-C in French GCSE by 80% of students.

Deeside College students celebrate outstanding GCSE results!
Deeside College students have been celebrating with 99% overall pass rates in their GCSEs this year. Particularly outstanding results were seen in Science and Maths, with a 100% overall pass rate. Excellent results were also seen in English, with an overall pass rate of 98%.

Coleg Llandrillo Cymru's Excellent GCSE Results
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru is celebrating after the publication of its excellent GCSE and Welsh Baccalaureate results. Students achieved a combined, overall GCSE pass rate of 98% at the Rhos-on-Sea Campus and at Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl, Coleg Llandrillo Abergele and Coleg Llandrillo Denbigh. Also, students achieved 100% pass rates in sixteen of the eighteen GCSE subjects.

College Offers Highest Award for Tour Guides - Coleg Llandrillo Cymru
16 students have recently been awarded the Wales Blue Badge - the highest award for tourism guides in the UK - from the then National Assembly Culture Minister Rhodri Thomas. It was offered as a part of the Foundation Degree Award (FdA) in Tourist Guiding run by Coleg Llandrillo Cymru and the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC), to meet the demand for top class tourism guides with modern languages. The group from all over Wales were the first students in the UK to embark on such training.

High Flying Apprentices become the first to benefit from unique partnership - Deeside College
Thomas Cook Aircraft Maintenance apprentices who study at Deeside College have become the first group from the College to pass the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 66 exam. The qualification licences Engineers to carry out maintenance and 'continuing airworthiness' checks on aircraft and must be held by certified Engineers working in the industry.
